26 Things for a 13th Day

1. This had to be posted at 19:21, sharp.

2. I was once 2 pounds big.

3. Now I'm 76 pounds and not so big.

4. I like necks. They snap.

5. I hate my toes.

6. I'm starting to hate myself considerably less though. And my self-hate ki, it is very strong.

7. The most scandalous outfit I've ever worn in public was a halter top I wore last year. I do not have the lumps for halter tops. So I do not wear them.

8. Then again, today I was informed that "halter top" means something different in American. So now I have to say, yeah, I really do like wearing halter tops.

9. The most scandalous outfit I've ever worn, that other people found scandalous, must've been the checkered blue top I donned in Bangkok. My brother accused me of allusions to prostitution the whole day.

10. The most worrying outfit I've ever worn, that worried me a great deal, must've been the red linen dress I wore once to a Ramadan dinner. It was a long, heavy dress, with sleeves to my wrists, and frog buttons. I don't know why I bought it, or even why I thought to wear it.

11. I obsessive-compulsively dislike body hair.

12. My current hair looks like a Heart-era Hyde (L'Arc~en~Ciel). I have a shot of myself puttering with my hair like the cover of that album.

13. On really bad days, my hair looks like a chocobo landed on my head and pointed its fluffy behind sideways.

14. When I describe someone as "cute", I could be referring to stunningly sullen persons with a "laser death glare", or I could be referring to the warm and fuzzy critters of the world for whom I have nearly no resistance to.

15. Love songs I know inevitably involve death, tragedy or at least, some kind of dishonourable bawling.

16. The last thing I did that make me go, "Oh crap. What have I done? WHAT HAVE I DONE?!?", happened about two weeks ago. I'm still grinning about it. But for about 2 minutes, I thought I was going to flail and end up on a light fixture.

17. Whenever I find something endearing, a disturbing feeling is caused.

18. Whenever I'm amused, you should probably run away, at good speed.

19. The farthest away I've been from the nearest human being is right now. It sucks, I'll have you know.

20. The first book I can truly remember reading was ... I don't really remember. But the first book I actually remember reading that didn't feel like I was downing a box of McNuggets in sweet and sour sauce must've been, my brain tells me it's the Wombles. There was an old, yellowed copy in my primary school's library when I was nine. I found it, barely ever borrowed and so intact it couldn't have been loved, on the second row of shelves from the bottom of the English section, where they put the Famous Five. The only real thing I can remember of the Wombles, however, is an obsession with souffle, a chimney with a homemade filter made from nuts, and recycled sweet wrappers as wallpaper. I was totally fascinated by the recycling and the quaint English foods. Should I be given the chance to do so, I'd like to read this again, with the cute illustrations.

21. The first computer game I ever completed was probably Escape from Xenon (Apple II). I competed with my dad to finish it first. Exactly like my father, I have a fondness for 2D shooters.

22. My favourite flowers are orange blossoms. They are small, and smell unpretentious.

23. My preferred smell removal product is deodorant. I go nowhere without wearing it. But I hate perfume. Unless they make one that doesn't smell.

24. "Do I want a dragon?" -- OOOOOO. DEATH FIRE.

25. My favourite accent is the British one. I find English folk quaint in how much they can squeeze mention of foul things between polite conversation.

26. The nicest thing I was ever told by a friend was that I was like a neutron star, ready to take everything down with me. Conversely, the nicest thing I ever got told by a boy was that someone out there wants to see me laugh. :)

Happy birthday! I am about three and change times larger than you. I liked #4, though #24 confused me.

Such an informative post! I've known you for how long and never knew what your favorite flower was? But I guess it never came up.

#24 was out of the random blue. A friend asked if I wanted a pony, and I've never wanted a pony in my life, so he then asked, "Do you want a dragon?", and I said, "OOOOO. DEATH FIRE."

I don't often mention flowers, yeah. I find cut flowers somewhat sad, since I prefer them on their original trees and bushes. Frankly speaking, I'm the sort of person who'd be stoked to get potted herbs. ;)
