Astonishment and Other Bits

ASif! have put up a short review of Mosquito Story here. The whole thing, quoted:

"A story to chill the heart of Australians - although we don’tusually have to deal with dengue fever, other mosquito-borne diseasesare well enough known here. This story isn’t really about a mosquito, but about Marina, and her relationship with her husband and her sister.Mosquitos do, though, keep cropping up, and ultimately play a fairlylarge role in the denouement of the piece. Very well written, andhighly enjoyable, although I personally wouldn’t classify it as fantasyper se. Horror maybe, at a stretch, but I am a bit confused about why it was published in this magazine." - Alexandra Pierce, ASif!

Paul Tremblay, who is very cool indeed, also mentioned Mosquito Story in a recent interview. Thanks, pgtremblay.

Finally, on a day I was feeling particularly sick, I accidentally found out scanner_darkly spoke of Rahim at a forum, and it caused ripples. Seth is a dear, dear friend, and I do adore the dude. This is clearly one of those reasons why. It made my day. It really, really did. Thank you.

I swear I just Googled my name and title by accident! Accidents that happen every few weeks, for everything I ever published! ;P
