Turtlefruit By A.M. Muffaz

The word is not symmetry
Symmetry is flawed
And useless therefore
I walk between the screens
To marvel at the turtle fruit
Without a head
As voices rise bounced off the ceiling
What the dim light sharpens
Is the bleat of a cellphone
Like the turtle fruit I am quiet,
To wait and ponder.
