For Reasons of Whim & Fancy

Tried scrubbing the ring-that-holds-the-lid of the teapot today. Found out that brown stains previously thought to be discolorations of the plastic were in fact quite easily scrubbed off, when scrubbed, that is. Oooh.

markfinn describes to me a secondary school dormitory he knows where hamsters had escaped and lived wildly for two years. The adorable muffins lived for years off student scraps, and I imagine bits of clothing, textbooks and bedsheets as well, beneath the floorboards. Cute, kawaii hamsters, dashing to and fro in the middle of the night. Perhaps, they clambered up many a blanket and danced on the bodies of many a young person, and were secretly fed past the witching hour with Cheezels and potato chips (well, alright, I do think that's morbidly unhealthy for the poor rodents). When captured much later, they grabbed up hamsters in handfuls, 60 tail stubs in all. Honestly, I don't see the problem here. So, they chewed up the wiring, and very likely made smells (but hamsters are much more civillized than ratties and mice, for we are not incontinent), but a hamster is a hamster, shiny eyes open wide.

Grabbing hamsters in handfuls, scampering little feet all over the floor. That's heaven. You'd think someone would appreciate it more.

*reads the music she's listening to* Well, at least it isn't Marc Anthony. ;o)

How did they find out there were escaped critters running around? Any rodent that might be hiding in my walls is just asking to be put to death. No furry things in my apartment!! ...excluding hairy guys of course. :oÞ

It was long after I left the school, but I understand several individual hammies were caught over the course of a few weeks and it was realised there was a rather severe (if cute, woffly nosed and fluffy) infestation.

Re: you are silly
*sniffsniff* *sniffsniff* Of course, I'm silly. Anyone whose avatar is a vampiric hamster has to be quite mad.
